HI, I'M ANDY..
I have been playing for over 30 years, trained at the Trevor Head School for Instrument Repair in Llangunllo Wales and a member of NAMIR.
With an engineering background and a maker of tools for brass & woodwind repair, I have a passion for restoring & repairing instruments to a high standard.
Being a musician myself I appreciate how important this is.
Located in Lyneham in Wiltshire specializing in woodwind repairs & refurbishment, flute, clarinet & saxophone.
SERVICES
Saxophone, Flute and Clarinet
CHECKOVER
Clean. Check all rods & screws tight, lubricate keywork, check pads seating correctly & adjust if necessary. Regulate instrument. The instrument is not dismantled for this.
FULL SERVICE
Dismantle instrument, clean and polish body & keys, check rods, barrels & posts for straightness, adjust as necessary & clean. Inspect then adjust pads as required check springs & corks and replace if needed. Instrument reassembled, lubricated, regulated and tested.
RE-PAD
Dismantle instrument, clean and polish body & keys, check and level toneholes if required, check condition of all rods, barrels, posts. Clean. Replace all pads with premium quality pads. Springs and corks checked and replaced if needed. Instrument is then reassembled, lubricated, regulated and tested.
